Withdrawal policy
Placeholder — not legal advice. This text is a non-binding scaffold and must be reviewed and completed before go-live by a person specialising in food/e-commerce law.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you took possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([Company name / Rootora, address, email, phone]) by means of a clear statement of your decision.
Note for business customers (B2B)
The statutory right of withdrawal exists only for consumers (§ 13 BGB). For orders placed in the exercise of a commercial or self-employed professional activity (businesses within the meaning of § 14 BGB), there is no right of withdrawal. [Have reviewed by a lawyer.]
Consequences of withdrawal
[Add the standard wording on refunds and returns, including deadline and cost arrangements.]
Note on food
[Check whether and for which products the right of withdrawal is restricted — e.g. for perishable goods or sealed food which, for reasons of health protection/hygiene, is not suitable for return and has been unsealed.]
Model withdrawal form
[Insert the official model withdrawal form here.]
